12-Days to Sexy Cleanse

I was welcomed into the private Facebook group with welcome arms; Carly, my coach, made it clear that she was there every step of the way and she did NOT disappoint; I was eating food, a lot of it!!; and I was cleansing my body from decades of toxins and waste.

As someone who has suffered from digestion issues for as long as I can remember, I thought this was something I was just going to have to deal with for the rest of my life. But then I started living on my own and being responsible for nearly all of my meals, only to find my digestive problems getting worse! I knew then that I, and the things I was choosing to eat, were the problem and that I needed to do something soon. So, with the recommendation of a friend, I started looking into Carly Shankman’s website and reading up on her informative posts and we’ve now been working together for over a month!
I shared with her that my ultimate goals were improving my digestion, having more energy and motivation, and losing weight. I’m a total novice when it comes to nutrition, health, and even cooking, but Carly has been with me every step of the way, always ready to offer advice and support.
Together we’ve come up with a plan that focuses on changing things little by little so as to not be too overwhelming. Instead of starting a cleanse right away, we worked on slowly moving away from the processed carbs little by little.
Now that the cleanse has started, she’s been incredibly helpful, providing recipes, shopping lists, positive feedback, and dealing with the many problems that my living in a foreign country brings. She’s always ready to change something up so I can have an easier time with it, responding to countless emails and even scheduling extra phone call sessions. And when I still slip up or am unable to meet all my goals, she never reprimands me, instead sending more positive support my way to make me want to get back on track. While of course diet and nutrition are major points of focus for us, we’re also working on the mental, emotional, and immaterial sides of things.
